Croeso … Blog Cyntaf

Welcome … First Blog – English below

#BroEdern #clwstwr #joio

Croeso i Flog Clwstwr Bro Edern ble byddwn ni’n rhannu ac yn gwyntyllu ein syniadau am y diweddaraf sy’n digwydd yn y clwstwr.

Mae’n gyfnod cyffrous i ni wrth i ni wynebu her y Cwricwlwm i Gymru ac rydyn ni wedi cael nifer o drafodaethau am sut gwricwlwm sydd ei angen ar ddisgyblion dwyrain Caerdydd. Mae Bro Edern wedi bod yn ysgol arloesi ar gyfer y maes Iechyd a Lles, Ieithoedd Llythrennedd a Chyfathrebu ac ar gyfer y Fframwaith Cymhwysedd Digidol ac felly wedi gweithio’n agos gyda’r llywodraeth wrth ddatblygu rhannau o’r cwricwlwm newydd. Mae gennym nifer o syniadau am sut byddwn yn bwrw ati i sicrhau fod disgyblion Clwstwr Bro Edern yn elwa’n llawn o bosibiliadau’r cwricwlwm a’r bwriad yw rhannu’r syniadau hynny yn y fan hon.

Mae’r her o roi gwybodaeth, sgiliau a phrofiadau difyr, perthnasol a dilys at ei gilydd yn rhywbeth sy’n ein cyffroi, ac fel clwstwr rydym wedi cytuno i weithio ar un continwwm dysgu o’r meithrin, derbyn, hyd at ddiwedd blwyddyn 11. Fel man cychwyn, byddwn ni’n dechrau ar y gwaith hyd at flwyddyn 9, ac yna byddwn yn ychwanegu blynyddoedd 10 ac 11 unwaith i ni weld manylion am fanylebau’r cymwysterau a fydd yn cael eu cyflwyno i ddisgyblion 16 oed yng Nghymru.

Diolch am ymuno gyda ni ar ein siwrne, a gobeithio y gwnewch chi fwynhau’r darllen a’r trafod.

Welcome … First Blog

Welcome to the Bro Edern Cluster blog, where we will be sharing and airing various ideas about the latest developments within our cluster.

These are exciting times with the advent of the new Curriculum for Wales, and we have had many discussions about our curriculum plans for our Welsh-medium pupils here in the east of Cardiff. Bro Edern has been a pioneer school for the Health and Wellbeing and Languages, Literacy and Communication AoLEs and previously for the Digital Competence Framework, working closely with the government to develop these aspects of the new curriculum. We have many ideas about how we intend to ensure that pupils in the Bro Edern Cluster benefit fully from the huge possibilities that come with the new curriculum, and we hope to share them here.

The challenge of intertwining relevant, engaging and valid knowledge, skills and experiences is something that excites us, and as a cluster we are planning to collaborate on a learning continuum, from nursery and reception to year 11. In the first instance it will work up to year 9, adding years 10 and 11 at a later date when we have the full details of the qualifications which will be awarded to 16 year olds in Wales.

Thanks for joining us on our journey; we hope that you will enjoy reading and discussing with us.
